Kingwater Parish Council in Cumbria

  • Description

"Kingwater Parish covers a broad expanse of high ground in North-East Cumbria. As a rural parish, we have several farms, dwellings and small hamlets dispersed throughout our countryside. The civil parish lies within the Carlisle District of the County of Cumbria. Kingwater really is a rural parish. We have no school, no pub, no church or village hall. Yet despite the apparent sparseness of population and remote location, we have a strong rural community spirit...."
