    "Dock No. 6 is skewed at c.65 degrees to the riverside. It is of concrete construction with straight sides and a curving and summetrical forward end. It has four sets of stairs. The gates are asymmetric and constructed of riveted, curved, steel plate with walkway over. The head of the dock is also asymmetric. The pump house for No.6 Dock was linked to the new No.5 Dock in 1929...."
