The C18 farmstead at High Knitsley

  • Description

"The farmhouse, on the right here, is particularly interesting. A typical C18 linear farm originally, with house and attached barn/byer, it was altered later in the century. As can be seen, another house was built onto one side to give additional accommodation. This results in the unusual double pitched roof." Photo by Robert Graham, 2019.
