Description
"Railway station. 1887. William Bell. Imposing composition with some Italianate detail. Tall central clock tower of 4 stages with crested pyramidal roof. Red brick with plentiful stone dressings. Two-bay flanking sections hold entrance concourse; each has a wide segmental and a narrow round-arched opening. Classical trim with pilasters and entablature; and stone architraves to openings. Further set back 4-bay sections have similar treatment...." -
