Description
"See [[3748219]] and [[3750405]]. This is the Great East window in the chancel. It was designed by Pugin and fabricated by William Wailes of Newcastle in 1844. It is a Jesse window, showing the family tree of Jesus as outlined in the beginning of Matthew's Gospel, where the genealogy of Jesus is traced in the pedigree of St Joseph.
