Description
"Farmhouse. Mid or late C16 with C19 alterations and additions. Painted roughcast walls, under graduated greenslate roof with coped gables; painted rendered chimney stacks. 3 storeys, 2 bays.....Beamed ceilings and ground-floor window seat. Straight stone stairs in outshut. Thin walls suggest a late C16 date, but could be earlier. This building replaced the medieval manor house...."
