"Single-track road bridge over River South Tyne, c.1775. Tooled ashlar sandstone. Both faces similar: single c.25-metre wide segmental arch with flush voussoirs, arch band and triple keystone. Arch, flanked by wide slightly-projecting piers, rests on side walls with chamfered plinths and top bands. Parapet...."
