    "A bronze sculpture by Kenneth Armitage http://www.sculpture.org.uk/artists/KennethArmitage/ of a hand stretched upwards in the narrow lane at the back of Central Square. It was commissioned by Parabola Estates as part of the Central Square developments which began the regeneration of the Stephenson Quarter behind Newcastle Central Station in 2002.     Visited this site on 29.06.2024 - no sculpture. Very disappointed.
