    c.1910TWL.2000.148Postcard, printed, cardboard, black and white image, black text, white background, produced by the Suffrage Atelier, the stylised image satirises the Anti Suffrage Society (ASS) as an ass that takes on the form of a portrait painter, a suffragette contemplates a portrait of herself executed by the ass, the painting shows a wild woman in contrast to the composed appearance of the actual suffragette, printed inscription front: 'THE A.S.S. - 'This, my dear Mrs Britannia, is a true & authentic portrait of yourself if ever you get the vote.' Published by the Suffrage Atelier'.
