7JCC/O/02/068 Photograph, printed, paper, monochrome, a group of men on a staircase in the process of removing a male protestor; on reverse printed caption 'Wild Scenes at the City Temple: A determined suffragist demonstration was made at the City Temple last night (Thursday) when Mr Birrell, the chief secretary for Ireland, was repeatedly interrupted by a number of women who had to be ejected together with their men champions.
