The corner of Grainger Street and Nelson Street

  • Description

"Grey's Monument can be seen to the right. Eldon Square Shopping Centre hides behind Grainger's terraced buildings which are only a façade on the north side of Nelson Street. Both Nelson Street and Nun Street were designed to have identical public houses at the ends to provide similar views from Grainger Street at their east ends, although that at the end of Nelson Street [[659318]] is strangely offset."
