Metro Central Station - Newcastle


Central is a station of the Tyne & Wear Metro, which can be accessed from Newcastle Central Station (railway) or via a subway at the bottom of Grainger Street. The Metro station features Hilary Paynter's "From The Rivers to the Sea" murals in the escalator foyer. Central metro station underwent a £6m refurbishment in 2017.[1]
