Knarsdale Hall, Burnstones

Knarsdale Hall in Burnstones is a former Inn, now house. It dates from the 18th century, and was extended and then heightened in early 19th century. It was previously known as Burnstones Farmhouse, but later renamed as Knarsdale Hall (not to be confused with the old hall to the north-east, previously known as Knarsdale Hall Farmhouse, and now called Knarsdale Barton). The building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. It is owned by Knarsdale Estate Ltd. and is on the Pennine Way.
