Historic Chapels Trust
A charity and volunteer organisation, established in 1993, preserving and restoring disused non-Anglican chapels in England. "We rescue and restore Grade I and II* chapels and make them accessible"
The Trust maintain 20 chapels (at August 2017). This includes 3 chapels in the North of England:
- Primitive Methodist Chapel, Westgate (County Durham)
- Coanwood Friends’ Meeting House (Northumberland)
- Biddlestone Catholic Chapel (Northumberland)
