High Leam (Corsenside)

High Leam is a farm/hamlet in Northumberland, located just off the A68 road, about ¼mile north-west of the village of West Woodburn. The farmhouse at High Leam dates from the early 19th century and is Grade II listed on the National Heriatage List for England.[1] A range of farm buidings to the north of the farmhouse date from the 18th century and are also Grade II listed buildings.[2] High Leam is possibly the site of a deserted medieval village, but currently there is little direct evidence of this.[3] High Leam is part of Corsenside Civil Parish. Low Leam is located about 1 mile south-west of High Leam.
