Gragetown (Langbaurgh) War Memorial


Grangetown War Memorial is located on the corner of Bolckow Road and Lee Road in Gragetown, Redcar and Cleveland. The memorial is a 12 ft stone Celtic cross on a rectangular plinth and three stepped base. It is set in a corner plot garden and enclosed by iron railings. The memorial commemorates 157 local servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War.
