Freemen's Clock Tower, Exhibition Park


"This clock tower was erected in 1953 by the Freemen of Newcastle upon Tyne to commemorate the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Lorne C Robson, Chairman." A later blue plaque states: "Freemen's Clock. This Clock was restored by the Freemen of Newcastle upon Tyne in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee year 2012. Sir Leonard Fenwick CBE, Chairman"
