Church Street

Church Street is a continuation of the High Street in Belford, off which is located St Mary's Church. The street starts at the north end of the High Street at the Market Place and runs on to North Bank. The street used to form part of the former route of the A1 (Great North Road), until 1983 when a bypass was built half a mile to the east of Belford.
