Bardon Mill and Henshaw Village Hall

Bardon Mill and Henshaw Village Hall is a carbon neutral community centre, located between Bardon Mill and Henshaw. It has a striking design, by Newton Architects, in a woodland clearing setting. The first event held in the building was held on the 1st September 2013. The village hall is run by volunteers and is a registered charity. It is used for community events and also available for private hire, including weddings. The village hall is notable for being built on the former site of Bardon Mill Colliery. A monument to the miners is located at the roadside entrance to the Village Hall and Redburn Park.
