Bader Primary School

Bader Primary School is located on Kintyre Drive in Thornaby, on the site of the former RAF Thornaby airfield. The School was officially opened on the 10th of November 1971, by the First and Second World War fighter pilot, Sir Douglas Bader (1910-1982), after whom the school is named.[1] The school emblem has a Spitfire on it and the motto "Aim Higher". The school has roughly 400 pupils aged 2 to 11. A number of improvements were made to the building during the summer of 2018.
