Town Head Cottage, Ravenstonedale


Town Head Cottage in Ravenstonedale dates from around the 16th century. The adjoining building to the north of the cottage is the former Dame School, which is dated "S.W. 1859" (possibly the date of conversion of earlier outbuildings into the school). Town Head Cottage, the adjoining former Dame School, and wall are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
