Cuddystone Hall, College Valley

Cuddystone Hall is located in College Valley, close to the Cheviot Memorial. The Hall was built by College Valley Estates in 1961 as a meeting place for local shepherds and their families. It replaced Sutherland Hall, which had been constructed of wood with a corrugated tin roof. The building incorporates an old bell, which was rung on the annual church service in the Valley. The Hall is used for meetings and now also serves as a wedding venue.
