Brimmer Head Farmhouse, near Grasmere


Brimmer Head Farm is located by Eskdale Beck, about 1 mile north-west of Grasmere. The farmhouse was built in 1574 and extended in 1870. Reputedly, it is the oldest house in Grasmere. Brimmer Head Farmhouse is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England.
