53 Westgate Road


No 53 Westgate Road in Newcastle was originally built in the late 17th or early 18th century, later adapted to be a shop and offices. The front entrance and passageway at right the right of the building were added in the late 19th century. The shop has been occupied by many businesses over the years. It was once Pure Ink tattoo studio (see photo, 2013) and later Hidden Hearing co. (2023). The building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for Newcastle.
